Help with your Tali

Setting one up, sorting one out, or asking us directly. Pick where you are.

From box to first reading

Six steps, about ten minutes. Have your Wi-Fi password to hand and the phone you want alerts on.

  1. 01 Place your Tali and power it on The screen belongs outside the cellar or humidor, where you read it. Plug in the USB-C cable and it wakes on its own.
  2. 02 Get the app and create your account Download Tali for iPhone or Android, create one account, and use it on every device you sign in from.
  3. 03 Put Tali on your Wi-Fi The app finds the Tali over Bluetooth and hands it your network. It has to be a 2.4 GHz network — Tali cannot see 5 GHz.
  4. 04 Wake a Puk and pair it Pull the plastic tab out of the battery compartment. The Puk appears in the app within seconds and pairs to your Tali over Bluetooth.
  5. 05 Name your zones and set thresholds A zone is wherever a Puk sits. Give it a name and a safe range, and that range is what alerts are measured against.
  6. 06 Place the Puk, then leave it alone Put it inside the zone, away from the door and off the floor, and give the readings time to settle before judging them.

Every Tali screen carries a QR code that opens the app download page — scan it any time. tali.my/hello
