How to do a factory reset
Unpair the Puks, remove the Tali from your account, and the device returns to its factory settings on its own.
To reset a Tali completely to its factory settings, follow these steps:
- Unpair all Puks using the app.
- Remove the Tali from your account.
- Once it is unlinked, the Tali returns to its factory settings automatically.
There is no button to hold down on the device itself: removing it from your account is what triggers the reset.
What this means
The Tali is back to how it left the box, so you will need to set it up again from the start — the Wi-Fi network, your Puks, and the zones with their thresholds.
