Get the app and create your account

Everything past the first frame on the screen happens through the app: putting Tali on your network, pairing Puks, naming zones, setting thresholds and reading history.

Download it, create your account, and keep that account — it is what your devices, zones and history belong to. Signing in on a second phone or a tablet shows you the same collection, not a new empty one.

The QR shortcut

Every Tali screen carries a QR code that points at tali.my/hello — the download page for both stores. If you are standing in front of the device with a phone in your hand, that is the fastest route, and it is also the one to send a family member who needs the app on their own phone.

Before the next step

Have your Wi-Fi password ready, and be near the Tali with your phone. The network is handed to the device over Bluetooth, so the two need to be in the same room for the next step to work.
