How do I update Tali?
You don't. Updates reach the Tali over Wi-Fi and the Puks over Bluetooth on their own.
Tali and Puk keep gaining features and fixes after they are in your hands, and the delivery is automatic. The cloud sends new firmware to your Tali over Wi-Fi; the Tali passes updates to your Puks over Bluetooth. Most of it you will never notice.
The one time you are asked
Occasionally the app will ask you to keep it open for a moment while a Puk updates. Puks are asleep almost all the time by design — that is how a coin cell lasts a year and a half — so some updates need a nudge to catch them awake. Leave the app on screen until it says it is done.
If updates are not arriving
An update needs the Tali to be online. If the device has been off the network, reconnect it and leave it alone for a while — it will catch up on its own schedule rather than the moment you are watching.
